Make your very own batch of elderberry syrup at home! This kit comes with all of the dry ingredients and a stepping bag. (honey not included)
One kit makes approximately 24-32 ounces of elderberry syrup when mixed with one cup of raw local honey.
Elderberry Syrup Kit
You will need 1 cup of local raw honey for this kit.
To prepare: Place the contents in enclosed cheesecloth bag. Add with 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 hour. Drain contents and let cool. After the syrup is cooled add 1 cup of honey and stir until the honey is dissolved. Store in refrigerator for up to 6 months.
Dosage: 1 tsp daily for ages 12 and up as an immune booster. If feeling ill, take 1 tsp every 2 to 3 hrs until symptoms subside. Do not give to children under 1.
